Warcraft mobile game will be revealed on May 3

Blizzard Entertainment has confirmed that it will officially unveil the Warcraft mobile game on May 3. News of the project was provided by the official World of Warcraft account on Twitter and there is currently nothing specific about the game, but it looks like it will be released exclusively on mobile devices.

Those interested can tune in to the presentation at 1 PM EST / 10 AM PT via live broadcast on Blizzard’s website. According to Bloomberg reporter Jason Schreyer, the game has been in development for several years.

“The Cans universe continues to capture the imagination around the world with informative experiences and immersive gameplay, which are the foundation of World of Warcraft and Hearthstone,” according to the official Blizzard blog post. “We are pleased to present a new mobile game for Azeroth heroes looking to play while mobility, and we can’t wait to put it in your hands.”

Nothing more than that, but the blog post announcing the reveal date features an image like never before: a cog logo and a lightning bolt.

Meanwhile, Blizzard has announced that Diablo Immortal for Android and iOS will launch on June 2, and pre-registrations for pre-launch are already open. The company also confirmed the release of the PC Open Beta on the same day as it launches on mobile platforms.

The game will be free and available online only and, according to the Diablo team, will have new characters, stories and additional content for an “evolving experience.”

Immortal Diablo Players will be able to travel through eight different expansion areas that will have their own unique styles. The developers have also confirmed that they will be adding more areas and content for players to explore the world of Diablo Immortal further.

Over 30 million players have pre-registered across all platforms to access the game as soon as it is launched. All players will receive an amazing Horadrim cosmetic set to celebrate this milestone when the game launches. According to the company, this is just the beginning, as new content will be released regularly to players for free in the coming years, including new regions, dungeons, and character classes.
