FIST: Forged in Shadow Torch made some waves when it launched on PlayStation consoles just a couple of weeks ago, so the PC release would have to happen soon. Technically, we are still waiting, but it’s apparently not going to be a long wait. The game’s Twitter page tweeted that FIST: Forged in Shadow Torch will release on PC in October via Steam and Epic Games Store. There’s no concrete date yet, so we’ll have to keep our rabbit ear to the ground to suss out when exactly PC players will be able to jump into the shadows. Torch. What does that even mean? FIST: Forged in Shadow Torch tells the story of a rabbit person named Rayton. Our hero was once a soldier in a war against the Machine Legion, which invaded Torch City, the game’s setting. When Rayton’s friend is arrested by the machines, he decides that enough is enough, and he straps on his titular mechanical fist to punch the ever-loving crap out of all things metallic. As he beats hundreds of enemies senseless, he learns that the current events are even more complicated and non-punchy than he could have possibly imagined. FIST: Forged in Shadow Torch is getting a PC release soon The game was developed by Shanghai-based TiGames, and is its second title. The developer’s first was Ancient Amuletor, a VR tower defense game that was released back in 2017. FIST: Forged in Shadow Torch, conversely, is a Metroid-like with plenty of interconnected areas to explore. The game features puzzles in addition to the combat and exploration, so it seems like a fairly rounded experience. The game’s PS5 release currently has an 81 on Metacritic out of 27 reviews, so it appears to be well liked. We’ll have more for you as the game gets closer to release, as I know how we’re all itching to start indiscriminately punching things. What do you mean that’s just me?
