The snapshots reveal that the severe hill terrain has been modified to make it even better by repositioning the shattered terrain and steep hills. The number of diorite/andesite/granite points on the surface has been reduced. More iron was added to caves and mountains. The copper blobs in drip caves have been increased in size. With the update, the company will also modify the Badlands to bring back the red sand. It would now be unlikely that peak biomes and meadows would be generated in areas of flat lower elevations. Snowy slopes and snow-capped peaks will no longer have dirt under the ice. A new biome has been added to Stone Peaks that uses stone and pebbles instead of snow and ice.

Bilger outposts are born all over the new mountain biomes. Villages are born in the meadows. The goat spawning process will be fixed. Underwater grass will no longer be born. Cloud level increased from 128 to 192 and also fixed an issue where players in multiplayer could face much more or less enemies than intended.

Sheep spawn in meadows but blue orchids will not spawn there. Missing biomes: Ice spikes and eroded badlands have been added. The height of some of the peaks has been increased to 260. The meadows will now spawn a single tree, often with a bee’s nest. Emerald and affected stone are produced in new mountain biomes. Ore veins are now slightly larger and more frequent.

NB: These features may change or be completely removed in the latest version of Maine Craft 1.18 Update.
