Government MP files FIR against Free Fire after a 13-year-old boy ends his life


The Madhya Pradesh government has filed a police complaint against the developers of Free Fire Garena, after a 13-year-old boy ended his life in Chattarpur district last week according to a report by NDTV. The boy was a sixth-grade student who had mentioned in a note left behind that he had lost 40,000 rupees inside the online Garena royale game, Free Fire. According to the report, the boy took his life after losing an estimated Rs 40,000 in the Free Fire game. The First Information Report (FIR) was filed under Section 305 of the Indian Penal Code, which aims to incite the suicide of a child against Garena.
