Krafton, while moving to the official Battlegrounds Mobile India Facebook page, shared a poster teasing the game to showcase the popular Sanhok map. The poster shows the location of Sanhok’s Ban Tai map, in-game 4 × 4 maps. Notably, Sanhok was the first mini map to be introduced in the game that was divided into three islands. While the developer has only revealed one map, the new Battleground Mobile game is expected to keep the popular maps Erangel and Miramar from the original PUBG Mobile version as well. Except for sharing a glimpse of Sanhok, the poster provides no further details about the game. While the BR revival brings excitement among players, Krafton has yet to reveal the launch schedule. However, the developers have recently updated the privacy policy for Mobile Battlefields India. As per policy, the game requires parental consent for players under the age of 18. Moreover, players will have to provide the contact number of a parent or guardian in order to be able to play the game. The policy states that if parents or guardians find their child has provided personal information without their consent, they can contact developers and request that the information be removed from the system.

As a reminder, PUBG Mobile was banned in India in September 2020 due to privacy threats. While the developers have since been making efforts to bring the game back to the country, they have finally announced an alternative that will likely be similar to the original PUBG Mobile version but include some India-specific mods as well. As for the launch date, reports speculate that the new Krafton-designed game may reach Indian players in June this year.

However, developers have released an PUBG Mobile 1.4 update For players in other regions. The latest update brings Godzilla vs Kong-inspired characters, new vehicles, a combat option, an arena map – The Hangar, system improvements, and a host of other features on the table.
