The Genshin Impact 1.5 update is roughly here, and it’s shaping up to be huge. The “ Under the Light of Jadeite ” update brings two new characters you desire, accessory to decorate, and more. Hope you also appreciate Liyue’s sights and sounds, because that’s where we head to in the next chapter of Zhongli’s storyline assignment and the new weekly boss associated with him.
Of course we will also prepare for completely new banners and weapons, but we will also be able to sample new artifact collections and take on new challenges. There is just so much I can do, so let’s get started: If you’re counting down the latest Teyvat World Short Journey with us, below you’ll find everything you need to know about Genshin Impact 1.5.
date of publication
When is the Genshin Impact 1.5 update released?
The Genshin Impact 1.5 release date is April 28th.
Note: Since 1.5 completes Zhongli’s story, you’ll need to complete at least the first part of Historia Antiqua to start the new story missions. As always with these updates, the logo will change midway. Expect new desires and events throughout the update period.
Genshin Impact 1.5 Banner: Who are the New Characters?
There will be two Genshin Impact 1.5 announcements, each featuring one of two new characters in the update. Yanfei And the Iola. The first is the Zhongli-rerun banner called the Hermitage gentry. This is also the time when the Yanfei Banner will be erected. “Born of Ocean Swell” is Eula’s tagline and will trigger once the Zhongli-rerun banner is finished, possibly three weeks after the update.
Yanfi is a legal expert from Liyue and the Luminous Beast, though he avoided getting into a dispute. It’s also a Pyro trigger with a unique attack that generates Scarlet Seals. Stacking these seals reduces the amount of stamina Yanfei uses, which means they can group more charged attacks together.
Iola is the new five-star character. She comes from a noble background, but joined the reconnaissance branch of the Knights of Vavonius for unknown reasons. Cryo is Eula’s vision. Its Elemental Burst explosion generates a light sword that draws energy from Eula attacks, then detonates and deals damage to AoE Cryo after a specified time.
How will the story develop?
Two ways, this time. Story 1.5 is split between the continuation of Zhongli’s story in Historia Antiqua Act II and the start of Eula’s own story, Aphros Delos Act I.
The search for Eula’s story remains a mystery at this time. However, Zhongli is about Lord Vishap Azhdaha seeking revenge for perceived offense against Teyvat ley’s lines.
Genshin Impact will also continue the Abyss Herald’s plot with a new boss, Abyss Lector.
You will be able to decorate your home
The other major change is housing. After solving the area’s problems, Adepti of Liyue gives you a Serenitea bowl that contains what has been called an “inner world”. You will choose one of the three designs – Cool Isle, Floating Abode, and Emerald Peaks – and open all three designs to the inner world by upping your relationship with Tubby, the spirit of the teapot.
You can only develop this relationship by decorating your kingdom. Dean distributes craftsmanship blueprints at various points, although he will also sell some items directly. Decorating the inside and outside of your island also gives you superhuman energy. You can exchange it for world currency, and it can be exchanged for a variety of things, from improvement ore to pets.
Artifacts, weapons and bosses
Artifacts, weapons and new bosses
There are two sets of new artifacts in Genshin 1.5: Tenacity of the Millielith and Pale Flame.
Perseverance of Millelith’s two-piece bonus increases HP by 20 percent. 4-Piece bonus increases nearby teammate’s attack by 20 percent and armor strength by 30 percent for three seconds each time the character’s base skill deals damage. The character with Tenacity gear doesn’t have to be in combat for the effect to fire.
More effect Genshin builds up
The 2-piece Pale Flame bonus increases a user’s physical damage by 20 pieces. Bonus 4 pieces are more shared. Elemental Skill Landing increases Attack by 9 percent for seven seconds, and the effect can be doubled twice. When you stack twice, it increases the two-piece bonus by 100 percent.
The new weapon is a five-star sword called the Song of Broken Pines. There is no information yet on what makes this sword unique, but expect to see it while summoning the Genshin Impact 1.5 Epitome.
Azdaha is the new flagship president. Dubbed Lord of the Vishaps, he’s a weekly boss with connections to Zhongli’s story, and he can change its element and battlefield element at will. Cryo Hypostasis also joins the Presidents’ roster. It’s basically just the Cryo version of the Anemo Bosses and Electro Hypostasis already in the game.
Also, in the first 3 boss fights every week, update 1.5 reduces the original resin required to claim rewards. You will also be able to manage voiceover settings or delete them in different languages to create more file space if needed.
All Genshin Impact 1.5 events
Although there is no central festival as it was in Update 1.4, Genshin Impact 1.5 includes a lot of special events:
More Hangout events
Genshin 1.5 introduces Series 2 Hangout events, although it looks like these new events will be more limited. Diona’s first Hangout leads the series, but there will also be a second Hangout for Noelle. However, there is no information yet whether we will see a continuation of the Hangout events for Chongyun, Bennett or Barbara.
Power Amplifier and Twisted World
Power Amplifier is a time limited feature as you unlock parts to increase your party’s abilities. Shards are scattered around the map, and like treasure chests, it usually has a host of enemies guarding it. Defeating them frees up the part for you to place in specific places around the speaker. The number of positions open depends on your driving force, which is calculated based on your character’s highest levels.
The main use for power amplifier is in Twisted Realm, a new range of domains available in the second half of the Genshin Impact 1.5. Each domain in Twisted Realm contains a list of additional challenges that you can choose from to customize the difficulty level, such as reducing healing effectiveness or increasing enemy attack strength.
Completing the Twisted World Domains earn high-level rewards. These include Ascension items like Crowns of Insight and also a contract with Diona, to add to your party.
Misty Dungeon is a series of themed areas where you must fight with a group of experimental characters and can only use items in each area. Domains have a time limit and three separate challenges with their timing to complete before reaching the final boss. However, there is a preview at the beginning to help guide the pilot characters you choose. Completing Misty Dungeon earns Materials and Primogems.
Mimi Tomo’s Challenge made you track down an unusual Hilichurl by following a bunch of clues culled from other Hilichurls. Completing this quest gets the usual Mora and Primogem rewards. However, it also gives you a bunch of Liyue-style layouts for your inner kingdom.
Windtrace is a new team-based mini-game in Mondstadt where Team Rebel and Team Hunters participate in a version of hide and seek. Insurgents hide using a variety of disguise and stunt tactics, while Hunters obtain special arts to help penetrate these perversions. Bonuses include Windtrace Primogems, Mora and Level Up Items.
Deluge of mastery
The Overflowing Mastery program offers three opportunities each day to obtain dual talent development materials from specific areas of mastery. Doing so requires the use of Original Resin.
