Rainbow Six Parasite leaks, showing more fighting with aliens
Another five minutes of The sixth rainbow parasite Leaked YouTube gameplay footage shows Ela blowing away in hordes of fearsome aliens as she struggles to save the defeated REACT operator from an extremely ugly fate.
Unlike Leak for an hour in MayThis leak is almost all the action, although it provides a look at the game’s mix of familiar and new gadgets, such as the nitro cell, the scanning bomb, and the expedition drone. After that, it’s a high-speed battle to find the fallen agent, and carry a fireman to the door. The post-mission screen is a summary of goals completed, survivor rewards, and mastery improvements.
The video leaked in May is more informative in a general sense, as it reveals that the parasite’s enemies are blue and green aliens with arm-blades and glowing heads called archaea. Players will gather information as they progress through increasingly dangerous areas, such as navigating the safe houses of Left 4 Dead, until they decide that’s enough and call for extraction.
It appears that operators who did not perform the extraction process, or who were left between areas, could be saved at a later time. It is not clear if this is what we see in this video – in our report in May we said that stranded operators “should be freed from an ancient tree, which is a mass of biofilms that attach itself to an area and must be weakened by imaging its glowing anchor points and cells. There is none of that here – but it fits the general theme. We’ll have to wait to see what happens when the parasite actually appears, although unfortunately there is no indication of when this will happen.
This video was removed in May fairly quickly and it’s reasonable to expect this video to be too, so enjoy it as much as possible. Parasite still has a firm release date, but it will likely be released this year.
