Sony unveils the next generation of PS VR consoles: Here’s how they look

Sony is expected to release a new version of its PlayStation 5 compatible VR headset soon. The company has teased its upcoming virtual reality glasses, showcasing what its VR consoles will look like, in a teaser photo. The controllers have an “orb” design and look a lot different compared to the current-generation PlayStation Move motion controllers. Controllers consist of small joysticks, buttons near the thumb, and play buttons located where the index fingers rest. at Blog post Headphone teasing, Sony He stated that the new consoles will come with features with finger touch detection, tracking, haptic feedback, adaptive triggers, and more. The company added that the new design will not have any restrictions, allowing developers to create unique gaming experiences. The prototypes of the new VR consoles will soon be shared with the development community, providing them with a significant amount of time to integrate the capabilities of the console into the gameplay. Sony It revealed that it improved the haptic feedback of the new form factor for the controllers. This touch sensitive launchers will help provide users good feedback about any entry detection. The controllers feature a tracking ring on the bottom, which will allow the VR headset to track movements efficiently. The company revealed that each of the consoles will have five buttons and one analog stick. The Triangle, Square, and Create buttons will be located on the left console along with the Grip and Trigger button. The Crosshair, Circle, and Option button will be located on the right-hand console, as well with the Hold and Play buttons.

To remember, before PS5 Launching, the company first revealed its console and then soon after it launched the next generation console. The same can be expected for next-generation VR headsets. However, so far, the company has not officially mentioned when the device will be launched.
