In the many years since Minecraft was first launched, installing Minecraft texture packs has gotten a lot easier and running with minimal fuss.
Here’s how to download and install texture packs for Minecraft:
- Download the texture pack you want
- Run Minecraft
- Select “Options” from the main menu
- Then go to the “Resource Packs” section.
- Now click on “Open Resource Packs”
- Place the newly downloaded texture packages in the folder
- Mark it in the game by dragging it to the column on the right
- Rearrange plug-in packages to download them in the correct order
Note that not all texture packages will work in the latest version of Minecraft Java Edition, so check the latest supported version on the download page.
