Nintendo Additional details have been announced regarding the upcoming Animal Crossing: New Horizons Sanrio amiibo cards cooperation. The cards will be sold in bulk exclusively at Target stores later this month.
Sanrio is the company responsible for Hello kitty And her friends. Collaboration will include My Melody, Keroppi, and more with new inhabitants, styles, and items.
All cards contain Villages as well as a collection of items. Rela will have Hello Kitty items. Marty has a selection of Pompompurin merchandise, while Etoile has Little Twin Star items. Chelsea brings with it a selection of My Melody products, while Chai has Cinnamoroll items. Finally, Tobi has traditional Japanese Zen elements for Keroppi.
All special guests have matching outfits to represent their Sanrio theme. The trailer shows the Al Jazeera actor wearing a special costume, with either a dress or hat to match the occasion.
Luckily for players, one pack of Amiibo cards contains six. Players will not have to purchase multiple packs to collect their favorite characters or items.
Erasing the amiibo card is simple. First, players will have to upgrade resident services to a building and then build the camp site. From there, players can invite the visiting village to live on their island. Sometimes a visiting villager will order an item to be manufactured.
If their island is full, they will have to ask a resident to leave. After completing the required steps, players must wait for the villager to move in to permanently.
Players raise a figure or card to the sensor on Nintendo Switch to access various Sanrio items.
A second way is to scan a card or amibo character for a specific character or resident sticker. Players will first need to unlock Harvey Island.
In the event of a survey across Harvey Island, players must invite the villager to participate in the shootings. After the card is scanned, players can access their poster using NookStop at Resident Services.
The same long-awaited collaboration comes with Super Mario Bros. furniture and clothing. Players will only have access to Mario-themed goods for a limited time but they are celebrating the series’ 35th anniversary.
The new Collaboration Items will be available on March 18th. Nintendo is warning in the promotional that an update is coming at this time.
The Animal Crossing: New Horizons The amiibo co-op cards with Sanrio will be launched exclusively at Target stores on March 26th.
