Here’s a very cool Doom map called Lullaby

Lullaby is a sprawling and beautiful map for Doom 2 that sets the standard and visual design of many shamefully expensive games. Created by map designer Danlex for Doom port GZDoom, it’s a testament to the game design talents that reside in the retro mapping and game designer communities.

Lullaby does horrible things if you know the limitations of the original Doom drive, and it performs well. It is a technically highly focused creativity, with great emphasis on form, aesthetics, sense of place, and dreamlike nature of the environment. It’s not too difficult, even if you want to go for it as a Doom beginner that’s perfectly fine. It takes about an hour to play.

You can find the map In the Doomworld forums, And the modder Danlex on Twitter.
