Genshin Impact developer brings Sony PS5, iPhone and iPads gifts to employees

The Sony PS5 is very out of reach at the moment and you are lucky if you come across it at the moment. So, it would be a fun experience if someone offered you the same thing, wouldn’t it? Well, MiHoYo, the responsible for the hit mobile game, Genshin Impact, provided their employees with Sony PS5 consoles at their annual staff meeting. MiHoYo did well last year and the company decided to celebrate it by giving expensive gifts to its employees. The Sony PS5 was one of the many gift options to choose from. Employees were also able to pick up iPhone, iPad, Nintendo Switch, NVIDIA GeForce RTX graphics cards, and more tech products. The company made those gifts on a successful public account. MiHoYo’s biggest success was Genshin Impact, a mobile gaming narrative gaming experience available on both Android and iOS devices. Going back to gift giving, a Twitter user revealed that MiHoYo has adopted a lottery-based distribution system – perhaps to make it even for all employees? After all, Sony PS5 is still in short supply and we think the company can only amass limited stocks of gaming console for distribution.

In fact, Sony PS5 still remains Elusive For players all over the world. Sony India recently got its first pre-orders in January, after which the consoles were delivered in February. The next pre-order date has not been announced to Indian users. Based on a previous report, the Sony PS5 and Xbox Series X supply shortages may continue to bother until July 2021.

The reason behind the limited availability of the PS5 and Xbox Series X is AMD’s inability to meet the demand. For those unaware, AMD offers the Zen 2 CPU for each of these consoles. However, Xbox Series X delivers superior performance on paper with 12 TFLOPS of power, while the PS5 is limited to 10 TFLOPS of power.
