Dyson Sphere is a game about building automated production lines to generate resources. With the right materials and configurations, you can make almost anything you want. Ultimately, you’ll run into a little bit of a resource problem. As you can see, the Dyson Sphere software doesn’t make it easy to obtain titanium, which is an easily mined mineral that you won’t find on the starting planet.
This is a problem, because titanium is required to make the materials needed to search for any object that needs structural arrays. You will need to obtain some major upgrades to make your first venture into outer space, create a small mining colony on the planet, and then find a way to bring back the newly mined resources.
So, in order to help you with a somewhat complicated learning curve, we thought we’d give you all the necessary information to learn how to extract titanium in the Dyson Sphere program, how to get to space in the first place, and what steps you could take to automate this transfer process. How to obtain titanium in the Dyson Sphere program
Since this is a Space game, You will soon have to find new elements on other planets. It is very likely that the planet where you start the game does not contain any titanium. Your first task is to find how to fly to the stars behind them. You’ll need the following upgrades to fly into space and efficiently capture the first batch of titanium:
- Lv1 drive: 150 charcoal, 60 magnetic coils
- Lv2 drive motor: 200 electromagnetic arrays, 200 power matrices
We also recommend that you upgrade the exploration of the universe to the second level. This requires ten electromagnetic arrays to display all the veins in your current planet, then 200 electromagnetic arrays to show the vein reserves in your current planetary system. This will give you an idea of which planets contain titanium.
Once you have all the necessary upgrades, build your facilities in advance. Build a mining machine to mine titanium, some power supplies to power your site, and a storage container to hold these resources while you are gone.
Vertical construction upgrades can help you keep more titanium in storage while you’re away. Finally, add some conveyor belts and sorters to transport titanium from mining machine to your storage. It is also a good idea to ensure that your mechanism has a complete restocking of resources to use as strength, such as active graphite.
How to fly in space
After you’re done setting, double-click and hold the space bar down until perspective changes. You will now be in fly mode. Controlling this can be a little tricky, but the main thing to remember is that every time you press a button, the power will be consumed. Here are all the controls for overflighting in outer space:

You will be looking to land on the nearest planet with titanium, which tends to be planets whose distances are measured in astronomical units, or “AU” for short, rather than light years. Landing on a planet requires you to slow your speed down to at least 200 meters per second, which you can do by pressing the alt button while in the planet’s orbit.

After landing, all that remains is to find the titanium, establish a small outpost, and then let it do its job. It will also save some time later and set up smelting plants to convert titanium ore into titanium alloys.
How to transfer material between planets in the Dyson Sphere program
The big downside right now is that you will need, for now at least, to manually transfer titanium from one planet to another. This is as simple as picking up the element, flying to the other planet, and then emptying it into a storage container. This can get boring and you will need to automate this ASAP.
To easily transfer titanium from one planet to another, you need to get the interstellar logistics system upgrade from the tech tree. This is a resource intensive upgrade because not only will you need all the logistical upgrades before the interstellar logistics system upgrade, but you will also need both titanium smelting and high-strength titanium alloy upgrades to build the towers, like as well as make drones that carry your resources from planet to planet!
Here are all the upgrades needed to gain access to the technology tree required to start moving material across the planets:
- Planetary logistics system: 800 electromagnetic arrays, 400 power arrays
- Interstellar logistics system: 1200 electromagnetic arrays, 1200 energy arrays, 120 structural arrays
- Titanium smelting: 200 electromagnetic arrays, 200 power matrices
- High-strength titanium alloy: 800 electromagnetic matrices, 800 energy matrices, 80 structural matrices
- Magnetic particle trap: 1600 electromagnetic arrays, 800 power arrays
- Motivation boosted: 1600 power matrix
- Healer: 800 electromagnetic arrays
Once you have established an interstellar logistics station on both planets, put some conveyor belts and a sorter to start loading the items into the station. To transfer items between interstellar logistic stations, you need to designate the material you want to obtain in the interstellar sign as a “remote order”.
You then need to craft drones ships and assign them to the tower to start grabbing desired items. These drones grab elements from the opposite interstellar tower to easily transfer materials between the planets, with dedicated filters on conveyor belts leading out of the interstellar tower to get the items they need.
