PUBG Mobile beta gets the Karakin map and new weapons

Notably, the map for PUBG Mobile was expected to be launched on the second day of the PUBG Mobile World Championship (PMGC) 2020 but has been postponed, thanks to technical issues. Now, it looks like Karakin will soon be available to all users. The Karakin map is part of the global update to version 1.3.0 of PUBG Mobile, according to the report. Karakin is a small 2 × 2 map, similar to the Sanhok and Vikendi maps, so expect short duration matches here. Since the map only supports classic mode, it can contain maximum 64 players similar to the PC version. It is located in a dry, open environment in North Africa, full of rocks. The report also states that among the exclusive features of the map is Panzerfaust, a new missile launcher. Once fired, the Panzerfaust explodes on hitting a surface and is said to be automatically eliminated. This means it can only be used once in a game. Karakin is also expected to include a slew of new features such as a sticky bomb that can stick to a wall when thrown and destroy it.

The new Motor Glider plane, which can also be found in the Erangle and Miramar maps, will be part of the Karakin map. Motor Glider will be a comprehensive update. Players can expect to find features like Smuggle Tunnels, a new Dark Zone, and more.

Note that this is a beta update and only our testers can access the new features as of now. The 1.3.0 stable update for PUBG Mobile is expected to arrive after the current season 17 is over. This is not the first time that PUBG has brought maps from the PUBG PC version to its mobile version. Before that, Sanhok and Miramar Maps were released from PC for mobile version as well.
