First, the new free god: Hephaestus. This is the god of blacksmiths and volcanoes, and the new temples will allow players to improve their equipment.
Weapons and armor for any new units rented in the county will be enhanced at Hephaestus Temple, and you can also improve the stats of any existing units.
There’s also a new free epic client, Divine Craftsman. This unit can be used to upgrade settlements or be placed inside an existing army to award fourth level equipment to all units in the army.
Besides these two additions also have an overall impact on the game. For example, there is a new condition for winning Aeneas’s Homeric Victory wherein you must gain luck with Hephaestus.
New Temple Chains for the New God are available for both Standard Factions and Horde Factions, and the New Divine Craftsman will be available for recruiting from the Level III Temple of Hephaestus.
Besides content entry, the 1.5.0 patch is actually huge in terms of balance changes and bug fixes. The list consists of several pages and there is no opportunity to list them all here. These are some of the highlights.
For example, at the start of the campaign, Salamis will now own Megara at the start of the campaign, armies can now fight night battles at sea, and some Homer characters will not lose their immortality anymore.
Unit balance and changes have also been introduced, including some bonus fixes to Centaur units, Spymaster will now be applied to crowds, and Shout Hero will now be properly rewarded.
Troy 1.5.0 patch also includes some performance changes based on recent community feedback. Overall stability has been improved, and two different crashes in the multiplayer campaign have been fixed.
Overall, the list of changes is huge, and you can check out Full Correction Notes On the official Total war Blog. There is a lot to list here. The main takeaway is that the new DLC and FLC will be presented tomorrow!
