Team ???? One of the groups competing in Stream MDI, demonstrated an interesting strategy in Terna Scithe’s fog dungeon. The strategy will require the priest to withdraw, so if you intend to do so as well, be sure to bring the correct composition!

During the race against the Golden Guardians, Jeath captured the talent Dominant Mind, which the priests allow to keep control On their character while using Mind Control as well, making it function similarly to Death Knight’s Control Undead ability.

This ability was used in Drust Soulcleaver, one of the largest in the crowd before the first president, Ingra Maloch. During this President Fight, Ingra Maloch will be stunned by Droman who controls him, increasing the damage the boss inflicts by 300%.

Meanwhile, Geith uses Soul Cleaver’s Soul Split ability, which increases target’s damage by 20%. Given that debuff is currently on Maloch, this percentage has increased to 60%. Harm Taken instead.

Using this strategy causes the Maloch to gain 360% damage instead of 300%, which is a huge bonus during the time players burn their boss as fast as they can and pump out the highest DPS possible.

Best of all, while this strategy is extremely helpful in spiking against the Maloch during the Burn phase, there is no reason it cannot be used against any other group. Some may find it more beneficial during fortified weeks to use it against more Annoying A mob of garbage from a humble chief.

Either way, it’s a solid strategy that few people seem to have thought about – and certainly never seen during MDI, and one that has the Mythic + community brimming with new strategies for a better time to improve grades and records.
