Genshin Impact is fun and all-in-one, but leveling up can be a nuisance. Many features, such as cooperatives, new Questlines, and New Domains unlock only when you reach a specific Adventure Rank. You might have already reached the point where you run out of things to do, because your Adventure Ranks are so low.
Of course, the higher your Adventure Rank, the more Adventure Experience you will need to level up. For example, to go from level 7 to level 8, you would need a little over 1000 experience. And to go from 17 to 18, you’ll need 2,500 EXP. Using the leveling strategies below, you should be able to increase your Adventure Rank by approximately 1 in 1 to 3 days, depending on playing time and ranking.
So how do you quickly collect more adventure experience? There are a lot of different methods, but not all of them will give you a big boost. Unfortunately, none of them magically allow you to jump a few ranks at once. However, there are some techniques that are rewarding and fun and do not take long.
Complete the daily commissions
By far the best way to accumulate loads of adventure experiences without having to invest a lot of time, is by completing Adventurer’s Guild’s Daily Commissions. After talking to Katheryne on the Mondstadt, you’ll get Adventurer’s Handbook that you can open by pressing f1. The second tab is called “Commissions”.
There are four daily commissions that you must complete each day. They are scattered across the map, but if you have already unlocked most teleportation path points, you should be able to get to the correct location quickly. Daily commissions range from defeating a group of enemies to collecting some ingredients or doing some cooking.
These simple tasks are worth your time, because each one rewards you with 200 adventure experiences. If you complete all four of them, you’ll get an additional 500 Adventure Experience Reward. It’s a nice increase in adventure rating compared to the least effort you have to make.
If you are tired of doing commissions or running out of missions all day, Hunting Bosses is your next best option to quickly gain Adventure EXP. Go to the Bosses tab of the adventure book and choose one that awards you an Adventure EXP award. Defeating a Ley Line Outcrop boss in the Mondstadt is a great option, especially for new players. It is low level and defeating it may give you 100% of Adventure Experience. If you’re more into the game, try Elite Bosses for 200 XP instead, or Weekly Bosses for 300 EXP.
The best thing about hunting heads is that you can do this frequently, as long as you have enough original resin to collect the rewards. Ley Line Outcrop bosses need only 20 Genuine Resins, and they will sort again nearby. If you spend fully recovered original resin (out of 120) on these bosses, you can earn up to 600 Adventure Experience.
Completing domains can give you a decent amount of Adventure Rank EXP. It depends on the individual industry and the exact amount you will receive, so research the rewards in the Adventurer’s Handbook before proceeding.
One-time Domains, the first of which unlocked at Level 12, are a great way to start. Their rewards range from 200 to 500 adventure experiences. However, as the name says, you will only get the reward once.
The most profitable way to gain experience in the long term is through repeatable areas. The first, Cecilia Garden, unlocks at Level 16. You can get 100 Adventure EXP each time you complete it. Although this might take a lot longer than defeating Ley Line Outcrop for example, Domains also gives you a lot of other bonuses.
Experience an adventurous guide
Unlike the options above, experiment tasks cannot be duplicated in Adventurer’s Handbook (first tab). But on the bright side. Adventure EXP rewards are very large and don’t require much time to invest.
Completing the Experience Missions will reward you with 100 Adventures of Experience each time. Just completing the first three will actually give you close to 2000 Adventure EXP. The tasks are very simple, and you may have completed most of them without even realizing it.
The tasks are divided into different chapters. You can only advance to the next class after completing all XP assignments. The number of assignments, and thus the amount of experience you will get from each class, will increase as you progress through the seasons.
Of course, you can always adhere to the classic method of leveling; By completing the tasks. This is without a doubt one of the most fun ways to increase your adventure rating. Usually, completing the mission will give you a few hundred adventure experience.
Most missions will take much longer to complete than daily tasks or kill bosses. It’s also not repeatable, and you’ll likely run out of it if you don’t do anything else in the game (hence this list). But in return, you get much more interesting assignments and stories than you get through committee work. If you’re just trying to dash your way up into the higher adventure ranks, you better stick to the missions.
Explore the map
Another fun, but time-consuming way to level up is exploration. The open world of the Genshin Impact is filled with teleportation waypoints, seven statues, and spheres that you can discover for a small amount of Adventure EXP. If you enjoy wandering through the beautiful Genshin Impact Map and don’t mind investing more time, this is a great way to level up.
You can also search the world for Anemoculus or Geoculus Orbs. Presenting these to the Seven Statues will reward you with loads of EXP adventures, but again; It takes a lot of time and can only be performed once.
Now all that’s left is to choose your preferred leveling method, and start the game.
