Fenyx Rising – Walk around the Icarus Wings website

If you want to know where the wings of Icarus are at the height of the Immortal Phoenix, you’ve come to the right place. Unlike the Broken Wings obtained earlier in the game, Icarus Wings allow you to slide across the island. When you look at how vast the island is in Immortals Fenyx Rising, the ability to slide will save you a lot of time over the course of the game.

Icarus Wings are not closed behind the Vault of Tartaros, instead, you have to complete a series of pre-existing puzzles near the observatory. These puzzles use all the tools you picked during your journey so far – take them as a final test before the main adventure begins.

To unlock the wings of Icarus, you need to get them broken wingsAnd the Odysseus’ ArcAnd a neighbor of Aeolus. Once you have the Icarus Wings, you need to trigger a specific scene that allows you to use the ability to slide. Make sure to head to the top of the observatory to finish the intro to the game. After catching the pitcher of Aiolos as shown in the Bow Guide of Odysseus, head to the observatory. Go up the stairs where you will find a square with 16 holes – one of the holes will have a large blue ball. Each puzzle you complete in this area will reward you with a blue quarry, four of which you need to reach the wings of Icarus. When you receive one of these orbs, place it in the same order as it is displayed on the wall.

Although you can tackle these puzzles in any order, we found it easier to make our way through the observatory instead. Go back down the stairs to find a building with an orb hidden behind tall gates. Head to the right side of the building where there is a collapsed golden wall. Hit this wall with your ax to break into, and reveal the orb on top of a large metal box. Push the box against the wall, creating just enough space for the orb to be available.

Go up the stairs back to place the orb in the square, then continue climbing the stairs and work your way to the right side of the building. You should find a pressure pad that activates one of two burners. While standing on the platform, shoot an arrow directly across the fire and into the unlit torch. This will open the gate and reveal the orb. Take this to the square and return to the stairs, this time heading left.

When you reach the top of the stairs, there is a switch that opens and closes two doors at the same time. Run behind the locked door and head straight from the open room containing the orb. Don’t grab the orb yet, you need it to solve another puzzle. If the orb remains completely in place, the door to the second orb will remain open. He grabbed the second orb and placed it in the same room as the first room. Now you can safely open the door and return both orbs to the square.

Dropping the last orb in the square allows you to collect the wings of Icarus, although you won’t be able to slide yet. You have to complete the final mission in the region before you can use this ability.

Back up the stairs, this time go towards the middle set of stairs that lead to the highest point of the observatory. From here, walk around the building until you find another crumbling golden wall. Smash it, open it up and stand on the pressure pad, revealing a fortified blue flame behind two gates. An Apollo arrow shot across the blue flame and pointed at the large flame just outside the window.

A box of 45 yellow addictive chips, 62 blue addictive chips, and 40 purple addictive chips will appear in front of you. Climb to the platform where you lit the torch to find Hermes standing alone. Have a quick chat with Hermes to unleash your sliding power. This marks the end of the introduction, giving you full access to the rest of the island.
